INDIGO-DYED COTTON SHIRT

This shirt is made from a quite densely woven cotton hand-dyed with indigo - it has a soft feel to it with a bit of structure too. The indigo dye is slightly uneven in a wonderful way - it looks a little like the surface of a pool, an effect added to by the glinting shell buttons! It has a seam at the front below the collar bones - a way of using up odd-sized pieces of fabric.
